The Ingredients :
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- ½ tsp of salt
- 1½ stick of un-salted butter
- 1 cup of light brown sugar
- ½ cup of granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 12-ounce bag bittersweet chocolate chips
- 1½ cup of mini pretzel twists, coarsely chopped
- ¼ cup of pretzels, crumbled, for topping
- ¼ cup of chocolate chips, for drizzling
- ¼ cup of peanut butter, for drizzling
- Preheat your oven to 350°F
- Spray your 9×13 pan by cooking spray
- Mix the flour, baking soda and salt
- Beat the butter and brown sugar and granulated sugar at medium speed for about one minute, until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and the vanilla extract then beat again.
- Add dry ingredients just until incorporated
- Add the chocolate chips and pretzel pieces and stir lightly
- Spread evenly in the pan and press it down with spatula
- Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown
- Take away from the pan and put on to a rack, let it cool completely
- Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Cut off a small corner on each bag and drizzle the chocolate and peanut butter over the top of the bars. Sprinkle the extra crushed pretzels on top
