Chocolate Chip & Pretzel Cookie Bars

We'll feel perfect if this cake served in an Idil Fitri this Year... I hope, you'll get the same idea with me.

The Ingredients :
  1. 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  2. 1 tsp of baking soda
  3. ½ tsp of salt
  4. 1½ stick of un-salted butter
  5. 1 cup of light brown sugar
  6. ½ cup of granulated sugar
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  9. 12-ounce bag bittersweet chocolate chips
  10. 1½ cup of mini pretzel twists, coarsely chopped
  11. ¼ cup of pretzels, crumbled, for topping
  12. ¼ cup of chocolate chips, for drizzling
  13. ¼ cup of peanut butter, for drizzling
How to Make Chocolate Chip & Pretzel Cookie Bars ?
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F
  • Spray your 9×13 pan by cooking spray
  • Mix the flour, baking soda and salt
  • Beat the butter and brown sugar and granulated sugar at medium speed for about one minute, until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs and the vanilla extract then beat again.
  • Add dry ingredients just until incorporated
  • Add the chocolate chips and pretzel pieces and stir lightly
  • Spread evenly in the pan and press it down with spatula
  • Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown
  • Take away from the pan and put on to a rack, let it cool completely
  • Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Cut off a small corner on each bag and drizzle the chocolate and peanut butter over the top of the bars. Sprinkle the extra crushed pretzels on top
